The OpportunityÂ
Abt seeks a qualified Housing and Community Development Analyst to support its technical assistance and implementation capability.âŻThis position will focus on technical assistance and training projects that promote safe, affordable housing for all people, build opportunity in every community, and programs that help individuals build assets and financial capability to improve their financial well-being. The selected individual may work in one of our offices (Rockville, MD, Cambridge, MA, Durham NC, Atlanta, GA, NYC, NY), as a full-time telecommuter, or choose a hybrid of in-office work and telecommuting.Â
Core ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Contribute to written products, including guidebooks, training scripts, video scripts, reports, briefs and other formats.Â
- Support needs assessment and information gathering activities by drafting interview protocols, requests for information, supporting senior staff in conducting interviews, taking notes or creating transcripts, and summarizing data.Â
- Assist with managing project delivery including budgets, schedules, project deliverables, client relationships, and collaborating with team members.Â
- Participate in project teams in roles such as analyst and/or task lead.Â
- Contribute to business development activities and proposals for federal, state, local, and philanthropic clients as a technical writer or proposal manager.Â
- Conduct literature reviews using internet and database search techniques and summarize relevant information for projects and proposals.Â
- Develop charts, graphs, and presentations to present training and program guidance in an effective and accessible fashion.Â
