Description

We are looking for a Homeowners Insurance Analyst/Specialist to join our dynamic team supporting the US mortgage industry. The ideal candidate will handle insurance-related processes such as verifying, analyzing, and maintaining mortgage insurance policies to ensure compliance and minimize risk. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and knowledge of the US mortgage industry are essential for this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate insurance documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with lender and investor guidelines.
  • Monitor and update insurance policy records for active mortgage loans. Communicate with lenders, insurers, and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or missing information. Assist in ensuring timely payment of insurance premiums and tracking of renewal dates. Identify and report any risks or inconsistencies within insurance documentation. Prepare regular reports on policy status and risk assessments. Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet service-level agreements and project deadlines.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • If undergraduate, at least 6 months of experience supporting insurance or real estate companies.
  • Familiarity with US mortgage processes and insurance products is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with mortgage software tools is an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
