The DCX Client Services - Home Based Senior Accountant will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will get a chance to learn new skills as well as demonstrate skills you've learned in the past. You will be responsible for closely following the instructions and processes outlined by the company.  

The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.

Role Details 

  • Industry: Finance 

  • Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM MT

  • Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA) 

  • Written and spoken English skill: Very Proficient 

  • Salary Range: 70,000-75,000 PHP

Job Responsibilities 

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost savings or revenue generation.

  • Accurately track all project financials, accounts receivables, and accounts payable. 

  • Process all company invoices and appropriately code projects for project manager review and approval.

  • Review and process all credit card statements and accurately code costs to construction projects

  • Assist Project Managers in the subcontractor pay application process to ensure accurate allocation and invoice approval. Ensure all pay applications are complete, backed up, and allocated to the appropriate project.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by documenting transactions, reconciling accounts, and posting journal entries to the general ledger throughout the month and provide monthly close financials to financial consultants.  

  • Assist in the creation and management of budgets, provide financial projections and forecasts along with G&A account maintenance weekly.  

  • Manage payroll processing.

  • Prepare accurate financials for CPA to process tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations on a quarterly basis.  

  • Participate, assist, and/or lead internal and external audits to ensure financial data accuracy and compliance 

  • Oversee cash flow and work to optimize the company’s cash position including monitoring and controlling expenses, seeking ways to improve cost-efficiency and profitability. 

Additional Job Requirements 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.  

  • 3-5 years of experience of Accounting Experience, previous experience at a general contractor is highly preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, databases, and accounting 

  • Working knowledge using Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, and advanced formulas, etc.

  • Expert level knowledge of accounting regulations, procedures, and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) 

  • Working knowledge using Sage 100 

  • Working experience with GC Pay preferred, but not required 

  • Working experience with ACC and Bluebeam preferred, but not required 

  • Working experience with Gusto preferred, but not required 

  • Strong working knowledge using Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas etc. 

  • Professional level English communication skills, written and verbal 

  • Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus but not required.
