Job Description
The DCX Client Services - Home Based Accounting Assistant will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. In this position the person will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records related to construction projects. This role requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with construction billing practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Role Details
Industry: Promotions
Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST
Work Days: Monday through Friday
Written and spoken English skills: Very Proficient
Salary Range: PHP 35,000 - 37,500
Job Responsibilities
Invoice Processing: Manage invoice mailbox, review and verify invoices, ensure proper approval and coding to the correct job and cost category, and enter Invoices into accounting software.
Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accounts remain current.
Subcontractor Invoices: Ensure all subcontractors invoices are synced from construction management software to accounting software. Resolve any errors that may occur during the syncing process.
Document Organization & Filing: Maintain a structured and efficient document storage system, ensuring accurate filing, indexing, and retrieval of records. Scan, digitize, and archive paper records while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Report Generation: Prepare and distribute weekly Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to appropriate departments.
Qualifications:
Education: Related bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance
Work Experience: 3+ years of experience of accounting experience
Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage 300 (Timberline), Procore, Viewpoint, or similar construction management systems.
Knowledge of Construction Accounting: Familiarity with job costing, lien waivers, AIA billing, and subcontractor compliance is a plus.
Analytical & Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and problem-solving capabilities. Help with creating standard operating procedures.
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
