Hinkley Point C Nuclear Graduate

Bridgwater, GB

At EDF UK success is personal. We don’t define it, you do. Join our Hinkley Point Nuclear Graduate Programme and you’ll achieve your career goals in the way you want to. All while contributing to our mission to help Britain achieve Net Zero.

“With energy demand on the rise, nuclear power is the clear choice to maintaining a stable, low carbon baseload which can be combined with renewable energy. EDF is shaping the UK’s future energy infrastructure with projects such as Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C”. Hemma, Engineering Graduate

What does this Hinkley Point C Nuclear opportunity offer you?

This is an opportunity to be part of one of the most challenging and exciting projects in the UK as we continue to lead the rebirth of nuclear in this country. We are building, commissioning and preparing to operate the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK, providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes. We require a diverse team of dedicated Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) professionals to ensure we have the skills to safely commission and operate the reactors.

Across the two-year programme, the Hinkley Point C (HPC) Nuclear Graduate programme will consist of a series of STEM placements at the Hinkley Point C site and our Bridgwater and Aztec West office. Throughout these placements, you will have the opportunity to gain experience across our Environment, Nuclear Safety, Engineering, Radiological Protection and Operational teams. You will work with technical experts to ensure you develop a strong technical basis throughout the programme. These placements will provide you with a breadth of experience alongside world class training, which will prepare you for a permanent STEM based role upon completion of the programme.
