This is a contracted position for 12+ months.  This position offers 60% of fee sharing.  Equivalent to $65-$75 per hour.

Job Summary

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Lockbox Manager to lead the implementation, management, and optimization of our lockbox operations. This role is critical in streamlining payment processing, ensuring accuracy, and enhancing revenue cycle efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Epic and a proven track record of managing healthcare lockbox functions.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Lockbox Implementation & Optimization

• Lead the design and implementation of new lockbox services for healthcare payments.
• Collaborate with banks, vendors, and internal teams to optimize lockbox workflows.
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure payment processing.

🔹 Lockbox Management & Operations

• Oversee daily lockbox reconciliation, exception processing, and reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of payments and remittances into Epic.
• Monitor ACH, EFT, and check payment trends to identify opportunities for automation.
• Work with IT teams to maintain seamless Epic integration for lockbox transactions.

🔹 Revenue Cycle & Compliance

• Partner with finance and revenue cycle teams to ensure proper allocation and reconciliation of payments.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, PCI, and industry best practices for payment security.
• Support audits and financial reporting related to lockbox activities.

Qualifications

✔ 5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle or treasury management
✔ Strong background in lockbox implementation and management
✔ Epic experience is required (specifically with cash posting and revenue cycle modules)
✔ Knowledge of ERA, EFT, and bank reconciliation processes
✔ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
✔ Strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset
