Every day, Cambia’s dedicated team of Data Analysts are living our mission to make health care easier and lives better. As a member of the Planning and Implementation team, our Healthcare Data Analyst drives data quality and business operations through data analysis and reporting, ensuring providers receive timely insights to manage members. This role supports the Episodes of Care Alternative Payment Model, requiring strong analytical skills – all in service of creating an economically sustainable health care system.

What You Bring to Cambia: 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Healthcare Data Analyst would have a Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years progressive experience in data identification, collection, validation and analytics, including report design or equivalent combination of education and related work experience. 

  • Minimum of 2 years Experience with Alteryx strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with Tableau or Power BI strongly preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with SQL or similar data querying tool strongly preferred.

 

Skills and Attributes: 

  • Demonstrated ability to create innovative and persuasive presentations and communicate complex information effectively in writing and orally.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement chosen courses of action.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, SAS, OLAP, SPSS, Excel), with experience in data mining and statistical analysis.

  • Ability to pull, manage, organize, and analyze data, including health insurance claims data, and reconcile incorrect or incomplete data into actionable recommendations.

  • Strong process optimization skills, including end-to-end process mapping, control point identification, and improvement.

  • Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and focus on highest priorities.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and with key business partners.

  • Knowledge of health insurance claims processing and data systems, with experience in data analysis and reporting in a healthcare setting.

 

What You Will Do at Cambia:  

  • Provides data analytics support to the Provider Partnership Innovations (PPI) department, analyzing data from various sources to identify risks and inconsistencies.
