Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Culture and Communications to join our HR leadership team. This role is crucial in shaping and nurturing our company culture, informing and engaging employees and ensuring a high-performing, positive and productive work environment.
Brief Description: The Head of Culture and Communications will be responsible for the delivery of effective people and organizational interventions that help improve the effectiveness and performance of the Jazz organization by shaping and nurturing our company culture, informing and engaging employees, and ultimately supporting the delivery of the company’s strategic goals and objectives. This role is a leader of leaders; with oversight of the functions that inform and shape our unique company culture and experience.
Essential Job Functions:
Shape culture programs and interventions at the enterprise level that deliver our desired employee experience and drive a high-performance culture.
Manage the development and delivery of inclusion and belonging strategies that align with the company’s aspirations while collaborating with senior leadership to integrate inclusive principles into all aspects of the organization.
Establish and deliver enterprise learning and programmatic strategies that shape our people and patient centric and high-performance culture.
Oversee the development and implementation of the global employee communications strategy and annual communications work plan to drive employee engagement with and understanding of Jazz's vision, transformation agenda, business priorities, and operational objectives.
Develop robust communication plans to build awareness to company changes and ensure successful employee adoption and engagement and achieve business goals
Own our employee listening strategy and approach; ensure that we have data-driven / evidence-based approach to delivering effective solutions for optimal employee experience and high-performance culture through the full project lifecycle (diagnosis, design, implement, embed, feedback/listen, sustain)
Work in close partnership with other HR team members in a highly matrixed project-based team structure, with a focus on collectively delivering to effectively leverage the full Jazz HR Operating model to successfully implement, embed and sustain people and organizational change interventions
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
10+ years of experience in roles of increasing HR leadership responsibility with a breadth of experience across positions that have been business facing (i.e., HR business partnering) and specialist roles such as learning, DEIB, org development, change management, communications.
Significant experience of delivering high impact and high value learning, organizational development and change/team interventions and solutions in complex, global organizations
Good understanding of relevant concepts and theories related to people, culture, and organizational development / behavior
Clear understanding of the business case for diversity, equity and inclusion and ability to oversee the delivery of an optimal employee experience and organizational culture that creates business value.
Strong business understanding and acumen with results orientation and demonstrated ability to oversee practical, solution-driven initiatives that add value to the business
Strong, proven organizational consulting skills, demonstrates high levels of self-awareness and Emotional Intelligence
Well-developed planning, organization and communication skills, ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
Ability to think and act with a global mindset, culturally sensitive, inclusive and aware
Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to adapt given changing priorities
Required/Preferred Education And Licenses
Experience: 12-15+ years in human resources and communications field such as roles within HR business partnership, organizational development, talent management, learning, culture, change management and communications Education: Preferred: Bachelors and/or Graduate Degree in Human Resources Management / Organizational Development / Organizational Behavior / Organizational Consulting / Psychology / I/O Psychology / or equivalent
Preferred: Relevant OD and Change related expert certifications or qualifications e.g. NTL / PROSCI / etc.

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the full and complete base pay range is:
$233,600.00 - $350,400.00Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.
At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz’s Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
