If you’re an experienced, customer-obsessed Head of Copy, who wants to work on a brand that leads with its unique tone of voice, this role is for you. 

Cleo’s voice is embedded across everything we think, make, and do. Behind it, is a team with ambitions to change the world’s relationship with money. 

With a human and structured approach, this person will lead our writers in further defining Cleo's voice and creating breakthrough communications in a traditionally boring – and crowded – fintech space.

Responsibilities

  • Co-lead the internal Creative Studio in partnership with design leads, helping the team deliver performative and compelling communications support.
  • Help master (and define) Cleo’s brand voice. As one of our core differentiators, this is a business-critical part of the job.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of copywriters, fostering open creative expression and ensuring high-quality copy across our marketing channels
  • Oversee the creative copy process, ensuring work aligns with business objectives (OKRs)
  • Uphold the highest standards of creative quality in copy and brand messaging
  • Lead creative brainstorming sessions with the wider team that delivers original and high-impact creative
  • Demonstrate an open leadership style that’s both supportive and inspirational, helping the team deliver high-quality work and continue to find ways to improve their outputs and the copy process
