The role

As the Head of Business Analysis, you’ll be the guiding force behind a high-performing, diverse team. You’ll create frameworks and establish best practices approaches into every project, ensuring that we deliver on time and exceed expectations. Your role as a strategic partner will involve collaborating with senior leaders and turning visionary ideas into concrete actions. Working across departments, you’ll ensure that everyone’s voice is heard and that policy initiatives translate into projects with real, positive impacts.

You’ll lead the development of innovative methodologies and tools that redefine our business processes, empowering our people to deliver their best work. What we are looking for

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with staff at all levels
  • Experience of leading a business analysis team in a multi-functional organisation
  • Experience of using industry standard methods, techniques, and business analysis tools such as BPMN, Use Cases, SWOT analysis, Five Why’s, Lean Six Sigma principles and methodology
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
  • Knowledge of process design and re-engineering skills
  • Proven track record of managing activities that support a number of full project life cycle implementations including those of a large and/ or complex nature

This is a hybrid role and will be based in our Birmingham or Cardiff office 1 to 2 days a week, and from home the rest of the week. Occasional travel to Birmingham head office would be needed.
