About The Role

We’re looking for our second hire to the data team at Paired! This role will report to the Data Lead and will be responsible for driving insights and enabling our marketing and product teams to utilise available data to make the best decisions.

This role offers a unique chance to significantly influence our company's success within the relationship wellness space and help millions of couples around the world. It's an ideal position for someone who is driven to unravel the complexities of couple dynamics and the psychology of relationship care through data. We are looking for an analyst who is not only passionate about applying their analytical skills to tangible issues but also excited to use insights to guide strategic decisions and foster innovative solutions.

You will also have the opportunity to work with industry-leading modern data stack tools such as Snowflake, DBT, Looker, Amplitude, Prefect, and Fivetran. This will make your day-to-day easier by allowing you to focus on the insights instead of waiting for SQL queries to finish.

What Your Role Encompasses

  • Perform analysis of marketing channels, product features and experiments to provide insights into performance
  • Proactively spot and flag growth opportunities on both marketing and the product side based on the available data
  • Hands-on with product development and marketing activities - making sure that both product development and marketing activities are data-led
  • Provide guidance on A/B testing setup, ensure that the experiments are being run according to best practices
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor performance
  • Educate others in the business on how to use various tools and data to maximise self-serve capabilities
  • Stay up to date with industry trends on both product and marketing analytics landscape (especially in the AI/Analytics area)
  • Ensure data from various channels and campaigns is up-to-date, reliable, and consistent
  • Manage event definitions and ensure their accuracy
  • Create DBT models to ensure we have aggregated data ready for analysis

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience within a data team actively engaged in handling data relevant to digital products, ideally the mobile app industry
  • Experience with both marketing as well as product analysis; campaign measurement, ROI, attribution as well as retention, conversion funnels, and user behaviours should be topics you’ve worked on before
  • Ability to take semi-structured requests and formalise, define and execute autonomously
  • Experience driving product or marketing growth through data analysis and insights
  • Experience executing and analysing A/B tests
  • Expertise using SQL to extract, clean, and transform data
  • Experience working with Amplitude or similar product analytics tool
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau or similar
  • Collaborative mindset, working closely with both business and technical stakeholders
  • Ability to condense complex concepts and analysis into clear and concise takeaways
  • Adaptability to switch easily between diverse tasks and contexts
  • A valid UK or European working permit or passport (no sponsorship requirements)
