Graphic Designer

As a Graphic Designer, you will collaborate on, design, and create various types of deliverables for projects within the marketing department. As a creative resource, you will be assisting with and identifying design needs to help continuously elevate the quality of marketing collateral and the company’s brand.

As a Graphic Designer, you will:

• Manage design and video projects from concept through completion.
• Create all forms of marketing materials: mailers, booklets, brochures, newsletters, banners, posters, flyers, emails, websites, documents, presentations, etc.
• Research, gather, photograph, illustrate, typeset and produce visual content for projects as needed.
• Work with Creative Design Manager and help design variations, additional creative assets, revisions, print-ready files, etc.
• Layout mock-ups and previews.
• Optimize and create graphics for the web and email communication.
• Be self-motivated and able to deliver on assignments under the direction and guidance of the Graphic Design Manager.
• Exercise a high degree of professionalism and self-motivation, using personal initiative to identify and recommend best practices.
• Demonstrate a continued commitment to professional education and industry best practices.
• Work collaboratively and provide peer review feedback for team projects.
• Establish and maintain effective work relationships.
• An ability to multitask and prioritize competing tasks and deadlines.
• Demonstrate working knowledge using Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat)
• Ability to translate business information into compelling visuals (e.g. charts, graphs, informational graphics).
• Portfolio must demonstrate a good eye for color, composition, legibility, and creativity.
• Good understanding of print production processes.

 Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or directly related field with solid skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premier Pro and After Effects
• Two (2) years of experience, or any equivalent combination of directly related education and experience.

Ideally, you will also have:

• Experience with web design (HTML and CSS) preferred

Physical Demands:

Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.

Extensive use of a computer and repetitive hand movements in the performance of duties.

Occasional lifting and carrying of material weighing up to twenty pounds may be required

Equipment Operated: Personal computer, printers, fax, copier and telephone.
