Graphic Designer - Remote CA - R1

Utilize current technology to provide support for the creation of graphic design projects for business partners throughout the company. Responsible for the conceptualization and design of graphic applications, such as collateral material and environmental graphics, from concept to completion.

Conceptualize, design and coordinate and copy layouts to ensure marketing pieces are and effective. Determines style, size and arrangement of type and illustrations.

Develop creative themes that convey intended meaning to the target audience and communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions.

Provide guidance to the Assistant Graphic Designer and Graphic Assistants on design and layout.

Research facts, data, and statistics to ensure accurate information is being presented.

Create and update marketing literature and prepare final artwork for printing with outside vendors.

Manage graphic design projects within assigned budgets and timeframes.

Manage projects with business partners and vendors.

Aid in the art direction of photography, video production and press checks.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent experience

2+ years of equivalent computer graphic design work experience, including color theory and creation of original artwork.

Proficient with the computer utilizing InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop and knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel

Demonstrated proofreading and editing skills.

Ability to effectively communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals or groups.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
