Graphic Designer - Growth

About the Role:
As our in-house Growth Graphic Designer, you’ll be the mastermind behind implementing innovative strategies that put performance at the core of our content creation for IPSY’s static Growth Ads. You’ll help analyze user behavior, dream up new tactics, run rapid-fire creative experiments based on your gut instinct, and double down on whatever drives the best results. It’s a fast-paced blend of creativity, graphics and analytics.
This role reports to the VP, Creative and can be fully remote.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Layout compelling graphics to generate attention-grabbing photo and video Growth ads for different channels.
- Experiment with artwork constantly: Test hypotheses across every stage of the funnel (acquisition, activation, retention), launching A/B or multivariate experiments at breakneck speed.
- Optimize Campaigns: Refine your designs based on metrics like: user engagement, conversion rates, CAC, and LTV.
- Work Cross-Functionally: Collaborate closely with copy team, production, photography and our GROWTH team to create best in class Growth ads.
- Experiment with Design: Track wins, and lessons learned so the whole team can benefit—and keep pushing the boundaries. Manage a growth design style guide.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulously edit and make your art pixel perfect in FIGMA. Make any revisions necessary until all stakeholders are satisfied.
- Open to change: Be an active participant in group brainstorm sessions and ad review sessions. Camera on, mute off. We want to hear your POV as we update art ( sometimes updating art live in session) until it is perfect.
- Socially Savvy: Be in tune with what's happening on Meta, TikTok, Pinterest etc. Be on the cusp of social trends and ad trends on all platforms. Get inspired, pin ad creative that could work for IPSY. It’s a quick moving landscape and you should be familiar and comfortable in it.
- Work closely with Creative Director to create ad pitches which are presented to the GROWTH team. Constantly pushing design boundaries in our quest to achieve virality!
What We Are Looking For:
- 3+ years experience as a graphic designer, designing ads for performance marketing (portfolio for review is required).
- Ability to multitask in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with designers, marketers, and other cross-functional partners.
- Obsessive attention to detail and highly organized.
- Open-minded and resourceful with a knack for problem-solving.
- Expert level use of Figma and Adobe CS.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

Pay is based on several non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, skills, and location. IPSY offers a bonus, equity grants, and competitive benefits. Final compensation is determined by experience and skills.
