The Grants Manager A/B for the Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics(ITMAT), with limited supervision, will manage the Institute’s sponsored research pre-award and post-award activities for a highly complex portfolio of grants, contracts, cooperative agreements, and sponsored research agreements. This position reports directly to the Director of Finance and Operations within the department and has a dotted reporting line to the PSOM Office of Research Support Services.
The Grants Manager B will work more independently and actively participate in specific projects, including the annual budget submission. The Grants Manager B will work on the more complicated grants including training grants, mentored career development awards and program projects, with multiple sub-contracts. Moreover, it is expected that the Grants Manager B candidate will have a greater grants management experience than the Grants Manager A candidate, such that s/he can make greater contributions, including engaging in financial analysis.
