Summary of Position

We are looking for a skilled, motivated, and innovative Intern to join our team. Interns will receive valuable training and mentoring to support their professional growth, develop marketable skills, and learn about Teladoc Health’s business and the healthcare industry. This is a paid opportunity, in which interns will be assigned projects and tasks relevant to Teladoc Health’s current business needs.
In the role of Supply Chain Intern, you’ll be part of Teladoc Health’s dynamic, fast-moving global supply chain. This is a high-impact role within our organization, with direct visibility and collaboration with our teams in Sales, Finance, Quality, and Member Support. Your efforts will help ensure our members with chronic conditions receive our shipments on time and with the highest level of quality at the most effective cost possible.

We’re looking for someone currently enrolled in a graduate program with 1-2 years of experience who has demonstrated their ability to identify meaningful business insights using their creativity, system and data savviness using their knowledge of supply chain systems and processes. To succeed in this role, you will need to have attention to detail, a curiosity and drive to map and improve processes, and be proficient in communicating improvements effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to and evolve the supply chain transformation roadmap to align with business priorities.
- Implement best-in-class planning solutions to streamline operations and improve overall performance.
- Identify problem statements and structure them into programs with clear and measurable goals and milestones.
- Work with team to improve S&OP & MRP processes.
- Develop and strengthen process documentation and training materials.
- Explore vendor categories and opportunities for improvement and consolidation.
- Analyze data and present opportunities for improvements across all aspects of the business using statistical or other data analysis as required.
- Execute against strategy, managing through obstacles and ambiguity with ease.
- Identify and help to develop key metrics related to relevant processes.
The time spent on each responsibility reflects an estimate and is subject to change dependent on business needs.
Qualifications Expected for Position
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university graduate program for Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or other related discipline.
- Experience with supply chain processes and supplier management.
- Tenacity to work both within a team and independently
- Exercise high degree of professionalism and communication with confidential information
- Demonstrate a keen sense of urgency and bias for action in the coordination process
- A welcoming, inclusive personality and customer-service mindset
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, including comfort and finesse when presenting to leadership.
- Experience with BI Tools including PowerBI, Tableau, Domo is preferred but not required.
The hourly range for this position is $25-30/hr. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
