Arthrex Inc. is hiring a Global Service and Repair Training Specialist (Remote) to be responsible for the full lifecycle of instructional analysis, design, development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of training programs for their aligned areas in the Global Service & Repair (GS&R) department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports GS&R Training Initiatives by utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS), Document Management Systems (DMS), and an Agency Training Portal for training delivery and recordkeeping.
  • Establish collaborative partnerships with strategic partners, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to align business strategy with learning initiatives.
  • Identify and analyze functional area training needs.
  • Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led training programs for division, department, and job-specific initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver train-the-trainer programs for division, department, and job-specific trainers as identified throughout the functional areas.
  • Analyze digital learning content and experiences and recommend continuous improvement methods.
  • Coordinate and create competency curriculum, training, and facilitation of new employee orientation.
  • Maintains Competency Training Requirements and Material by monitoring work instruction changes in DMS and business processes/platforms to reflect current processes accurately.
  • Works with the Meetings & Events Team to coordinate offsite training events to achieve training and attendance goals.
  • Stays abreast of trends within Training and Development and adapts new approaches as appropriate.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate training surveys for development and improvements.
  • Script training presentations and storyboard writing for E-Learning content.
  • Travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theories.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business goals.
  • Ability to apply learning design principles to digital content creation.
  • Demonstrated experience working in learning management systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, oral, written, and business communications skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Skilled at project management within large organizations
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Self-directed work habits, applied with creativity, resourcefulness, and a sense of personal responsibility

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in education, instructional design, or closely related field required.

 

Experience:

  • 3 years of experience designing and developing learning solutions required.
  • Proven experience and understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles required.
  • Experience with graphic design technologies (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, SnagIt) or video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premier, After Effects, Camtasia) required.
  • Experience writing scripts for training presentations, demonstration videos, and E-learning courses preferred.
  • Project management experience preferred.

 

Discretion /Latitude:

Work is performed under general direction. Exercises some latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in written or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.

 

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to customers, other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
