Medtronic Pain Interventions business within the Neuromodulation operating unit is going through an exciting transformation, becoming more bold, innovative and is one of the fastest growing businesses in the company. In an era of high growth, the business is looking for an experienced Global Product Manager to lead new product launch and support existing products in market. The individual will drive high-impact marketing campaigns, support portfolio management and lead global commercial launches. You will be an important member of our fast-paced, high-visibility global downstream marketing team. This individual will own product positioning and messaging, global product launches, portfolio management and optimization, customer engagement, and HCP marketing programs. This experienced individual will partner with the sales team, regional marketers, and cross-functional teams to accelerate our revenue and market share growth.  Every day we work to unlock the answers for patients experiencing chronic, debilitating conditions. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Lead creation / maintenance of a bold marketing strategy including: segmentation & positioning, messaging, multi-channel plan, quarterly plan of action and sales communication. Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and obtain market intelligence for pricing analysis and product positioning
  • Messaging and Marketing Collateral: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all channels. Create and manage marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and online content. Coordinate sales and related activities such as advertising, public relations, social media and strategies to achieve marketing objectives
  • Launch and Go-to-Market: Plan and execute successful product launches, coordinating with sales, regulatory, and R&D teams. Develop go-to-market strategies and tactics to drive product adoption and market penetration. Monitor and analyze the success of product launches and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Global Execution: Consult with country and/or regional marketing and sales teams to introduce new campaigns, techniques, and capabilities.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip sales teams with the tools and training needed to effectively sell Medtronic's products. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for sales teams. Drive strong field connectivity through best practice sharing, market updates, field visits, and sales training
  • Customer Engagement and Support: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements and marketing strategies. Support customer events, trade shows, and conferences to promote Medtronic's products.

Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of marketing, sales/sales support or technical experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience in healthcare, medical device, pharma or agency/consulting industry
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Strong global commercial marketing experience; preferably downstream in the medical device or healthcare industry
  • Exposure to global healthcare markets and the global economy
  • Experience leading market analysis and account segmentation and targeting activities
  • Experience developing and leading projects, programs, and/or cross-functional teams
  • Ability to quickly develop relationships and rapport with individuals at all levels and from all cultures
  • Experience working with and creating programs for a sales force
  • Strong relationship building experience with physicians, staff, field sales organization and distributors

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$101,600.00 - $152,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
