Global Planning Executive - Integrated Supply Chain AVS

The AVS ISC Global Planning Leader is responsible for developing and leading a planning team to drive global forecast accuracy, optimize inventory management, coordinate material flow, and implement strategic data analytics to enhance the AVS business's supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.

Planning S&OP    
•    Strategic role responsible for developing a vision and leading a planning team to drive global forecast accuracy for the AVS business
•    Participates in and executes Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes enabling implementation of business strategies.
•    Coordinates plans with the modality product management and commercial leaders to achieve the agreed-upon demand plan.
Inventory    
•    Leads and optimizes inventory management processes and systems
•    Develops and executes inventory vision and implementation plans to improve inventory management and materials velocity across all manufacturing and region flows.
Fulfillment S&OE    
•    Coordinates flow of materials (from supplier through region) for the AVS franchise.
•    Works cross functionally to align tactical execution and problem solving with business objectives.
Materials    
•    Develops and executes global materials management standard work.
•    Leads global materials and master scheduling organization to optimize AVSs global supply chain network.
Essential Responsibilities & Skills
Planning S&OP    
•    Leads global demand planning for AVS modalities, provides detailed monthly forecasts to manufacturing and material teams
•    Leads global supply planning for AVS modalities, provides deetailed mothly forecasts for shipment plans into the region
•    Supports global finished goods inventory planning for a particular group of products across plants and regional warehouses
•    Leads inventory management for a particular group of products; responsible for phase-in / phase-out of products/materials to minimize the obsolescence risk
•    Leads inventory management for a particular group of products
•    Coordinate cross-functional team to establish and execute a monthly IBP review incorporating revenue & inventory financials, demand planning, constrained supply planning, and long term capacity planning. Facilitate proactive product planning dialog: last time buys, product obsolescence, license expirations, supply capacity, etc.
•    Influences and communicates well with all levels of the organization including senior leadership, acting as primary supply chain owner for the product portfolio
•    Responsible for accurate product forecast and flow down from regional OTR teams to manufacturing teams
•    Partner with sourcing and make leadership teams to establish long-range capacity and supply plans; Work with plant, regions, and Planning COE to continue to drive improvements in IBP process, forecast accuracy, budget planning, etc.
Inventory    
•    Inventory process owner for the AVS segment, ensuring operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
•    Coordinates all activities between engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and region to support on-tim-delivery.
•    Integrates inventory strategies and plans for NPIs to drive phase-in/phase out to minimize obsolescence.
•    Supports safety stock polices for different nodes
•    Simulates impact of inventory policy changes.
Fulfillment S&OE    
•    Aligns material processes and systems, prepares and updates production schedules and purchasing needs to meet customer commitments.
•    Ensures operational alignment with production plans and KPIs. 
•    Develops remediation actions to expedited customer requests within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdepended production cycles.
•    Global Materials and Scheduling    Drives standardization and optimization of master scheduling for all AVS manufacturing sites
•    Leads finite scheduling of manufacturing locations.
•    Drives standardization in the management of raw materials planning processes.
•    Develops vision and action plans to achieve overall business objectives (SQDC)
Strategic Data & Analytical Leadership
•    Strategic Data Integration: The ability to develop and implement a long-term vision for data utilization across the organization is crucial. This includes fostering a culture that values data as a strategic asset and integrating data analytics into all decision-making processes to enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
•    Demand Forecasting Proficiency: A strong understanding of predictive analytics tools and methodologies is necessary for accurately forecasting demand. This expertise enables the executive to anticipate market trends and customer needs, allowing for proactive adjustments in supply chain strategies and inventory management.
•    Data-Driven Decision Making: The executive should be skilled in leveraging advanced analytics to derive actionable insights from complex datasets. This involves not only understanding historical data but also utilizing real-time analytics to inform strategic decisions, optimize operations, and enhance responsiveness to market dynamics.
•    Holistic Supply Chain Perspective: The ability to collaborate effectively across various departments (e.g., marketing, sales, finance) is vital. This ensures that insights derived from data analytics are shared and utilized throughout the organization, leading to cohesive strategies that align with overall business objectives.
•    Agility in Response to Market Changes: As technology and market conditions evolve rapidly, the executive must be adept at managing change within the organization. This includes implementing new technologies, adapting processes based on data insights, and fostering an agile mindset among teams to quickly respond to disruptions or opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements
•    Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years experience with proven people leadership in manufacturing/Service/or ISC role
•    Demonstrated leadership, energizing global teams, and global project management
•    Proven ability to drive and manage change initiatives in a matrix environment
•    Ability to successfully motivate, and maintain high moral, employee involvement, safety and teamwork
•    Six Sigma/Lean Trained with demonstrated ability to apply tools and process rigor
•    Demonstrated ability to deliver results in an ambiguous environment
•    Location is flexible in the USA but no relocation will be provided; If in USA, eastern or central time zone strongly preferred


Desired Characteristics
•    MBA or Master Degree

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $188,000.00-$282,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
