The successful candidate will be an integral team member of the Collins Global Operations Supply Chain Finance leadership team responsible for developing a global organization to achieve financial and strategic plan objectives, maintain strong controls and compliance, and continuously improve key business processes.  

What You Will Do:

  • Develop a world-class controls environment, 100% compliance on-time, ensuring:

  • Financial reporting and accounting treatment is consistent with GAAP and corporate policy

  • Thorough review, understanding, and ownership of financial statements ensuring relevant, reliable, and representationally faithful reporting

  • Compliance with Accounting & Controls Assessments, Audits, Account Reconciliations, eSOX controls and documentation, and policy updates

  • Partner with operations leaders to:

  • Develop and execute coherent financial plans that optimize profitability with lean cost structures

  • Achieve operational objectives that support the customer through excellent quality products delivered on-time

  • Ensure sound investment strategy, capital allocation, and robust ROI analysis and execution

  • Review / Approve SCM finance team Journal Entries, Headcount, RTX Synergy financials, and SAP cost center / charge number creation

  • Creates financial models of “what if” scenarios to help future business planning decisions

  • Lead and partner with Cost Accounting and SBUs during the annual material purchase parts standards setting process

  • PowerSteering Support – Average Price Paid(APP) actuals and forecast loads

  • Leading and supporting monthly commodity Purchase Price Variance (PPV) project reviews

  • PPV and standard change project savings and headwind analysis / data validation

  • Executes financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support business plans

  • Provides interpretation of financial data in spreadsheets, charts, and reports

  • Drive process improvement projects and standard work documentation to streamline and create efficiencies

  • Assist with, validate, and approve supplier contract negotiations headwinds and savings calculations

  • Responsible for hiring, developing, and leading professionals, including partnering with other functions and businesses to achieve such results

  • Demonstrate visible leadership that inspires and empowers, building trust and inclusion

  • Maintain a high-performance and engaged finance group through disciplined use of CORE tools, ensuring robust key processes, excellent standard work, and cross-functional RCCA engagement

  • Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience 

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position 

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • 3-5+ years of Big Four Accounting Firm experience (preferred)

  • SAP / HFM working knowledge

  • FP&A experience

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles* will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
