Job Description

Remote: This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Pontiac, Milford or Mountain View, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.

The Role:
As a member of GM's Human Resources Group and Global Mobility you ensure efficient and streamlined systems and processes for global mobile employees in support of our global strategic objectives.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide support for Global Mobility programs and service delivery to enhances operational productivity.
  • Responsible for documenting end to end processes for Global Mobility programs and its service delivery to ensure compliance and employee satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage Global Mobility data and analytics to identify patterns and trends that support stakeholders to make informed decisions.
  • Ensure timely delivery, completion, and accuracy of Global Mobility programs dashboard.
  • SME and Analyst/Coordinator for Global Mobility; Workday transaction structures, processes, content, testing and Quick Reference Guides; vendor set-ups; initiations/integrations.
  • Responsible for Global Mobility content on Company’s intranet site.
  • Create, maintain, and/or distribute various Global Mobility reports and understand all reporting capability within Workday or Vendor systems.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely invoice reviews, audits, and payments to third-party vendors, as well as, capturing total vendor spend.
  • Support US Immigration and Canada/US Commuter programs with compliance, reports, audit, document coordination, etc.
  • Manage process and/or communications with employees to ensure timely completion of obligations and/or collection of outstanding funds due back to the company. 
  • Participate in projects that support of Global Mobility Policy updates, strategic initiatives or projects and process improvements.

Additional Job Description

Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • 2-3+ years of work experience in Global Mobility, international HR or a related field
  • Project management and problem-solving skills to support programs such as international assignments, domestic relocation, immigration, compensation, and taxes
  • Detail oriented and tech-savvy to drive efficiencies in mobility operations
  • Experience in development and use of data and analytics
  • Basic Workday functionality and data exchange processes with third party vendors
  • Experience as an HR Business Partner or background working with HRBPs
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders
  • Knowledge of HR systems, process mapping tools, and high-level Excel skills
