This is a remote position. The selected colleague will generally be expected to work at an MUFG office periodically. A member of our recruitment team will discuss location preferences with you in more detail.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide hands-on program management for various projects
• Establish project governance, working groups, and communication strategies with stakeholders
• Drive planning and manage process to ensure projects are on track/resourced
• Ensure timetable and deliverable schedules are understood and communicated
• Align, plan, and precisely manage activities and dependencies
• Report out on project / program status
• Proactively manage dependencies, coordinate across teams to resolve issues and mitigate risks
• Provide stakeholders with ongoing updates on strategy, budget, project delivery, controls, risks, etc.
• Provide required reporting for stakeholders
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
• Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable
• 7+ years' experience successfully leading strategic initiatives and transformation programs
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar, preferred
• Solid Program Management experience with complex, cross-organizational projects prioritizing competing demands, scoping multiple efforts and negotiating timelines
• Experience in the banking, fintech or other highly regulated industries
• Experience with project documentation related to planning, RACI, RAID log
• Recognized as being proactive in closing open items
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
• Well versed in project management fundamentals
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and diverse projects and initiatives involving analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing, problem solving, decision-making, and conducting assigned projects and activities with minimal supervision
• Successfully managed large scale and complex initiatives independently, from start to finish
• Prior relevant operational expertise preferred
• Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools preferred
• Ability to execute and troubleshoot problems
• Ability to analyze and use data for reporting and decision making
• Ability to independently manage programs of varied size and scope
• Ability to manage a project team
• Experience tracking projects and tasks through Jira/Confluence, Microsoft Project, Clarity, or other industry-standard platforms
• Full understanding of business and technology
• Ability to ensure reporting quality
• Planning and process orientation
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• SharePoint Project Site, VISIO

The typical base pay range for this role is between $133K - $162K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
