The Job:   

As a Global Digital Asset Management (DAM) Librarian, you’ll be part of our Tools and Outdoor Team working as a Remote employee.  The DAM Librarian will be responsible for managing and maintaining our global digital asset library to ensure organized, efficient, and compliant access to assets across teams. This individual will be the primary point of contact for DAM support, metadata tagging, rights management, and workflow optimization to enhance the Global Digital Experience team’s effectiveness and align with the company’s content strategy.  You’ll get to:    

  • Organize and maintain the digital asset library to ensure assets are tagged with accurate metadata.

  • Maintain metadata standards and implement updates to improve searchability and asset discovery.

  • Ensure compliance with copyright, licensing, and digital rights for all assets.

  • Track asset expiration dates, renew rights as necessary, and remove expired assets.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for global and regional teams, providing user support and troubleshooting.

  • Conduct training sessions on DAM best practices, metadata tagging, and asset workflows.

  • Generate detailed reports on asset usage, user activity, and KPI monitoring to support data-driven improvements.

  • Coordinate with IT for system updates and ensure ongoing DAM system optimization.

  • Collect user feedback and identify opportunities for DAM enhancements in collaboration with global/regional teams.

  • Oversee and refine the asset approval workflows to streamline content management. Actively collaborate with global teams to align DAM operations with strategic content initiatives.

  • Experience with DAM platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Bynder, Widen Collective) and understanding of content management systems (CMS).

  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for minor asset adjustments.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to use analytics tools to generate insights on asset usage, user activity, and other performance metrics.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, coordinating effectively with stakeholders across global teams.

  • Rights Management Knowledge: Familiarity with copyright laws, licensing, and digital rights management best practices.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $59,500 - $107,000 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
