Job DetailsThe Global Compliance Investigator, is responsible for conducting, documenting, and managing global compliance investigations into violations of internal policies and applicable laws and regulations across Cencora’s global enterprise. Reporting to the Director, Global Compliance Investigations, this role collaborates with Legal, Compliance, HR, and Senior Business Leaders to ensure fairness, transparency, consistency, and high standards in how we conduct investigations and promote an ethical and compliant work environment.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in administering Cencora’s Compliance Hotline and EthicsPoint system and database.
- Conducts confidential and professional internal compliance investigations of varied complexity and scope, determines whether the facts and circumstances constitute a violation of law or regulation and/or potential violation of Cencora compliance policies or Code of Conduct, performs root cause analysis, and provides recommendations for remediation.
- Responsible for working with and managing outside counsel as appropriate.
- Conducts professional interviews and thoroughly reports and documents the results of those interviews.
- Provides advice to cross-functional and business partners following an investigation, which may include modifying policies, enhanced training, coaching, or monitoring.
- Demonstrates strong and ethical decision-making capabilities and is proficient in being able to make business-oriented yet compliant recommendations.
- Analyzes compliance investigations data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential areas of concern. Uses data to inform decision-making.
- Compiles and provides periodic reports of investigations within Compliance program and risk assurance functions.
- Assists the Director in managing investigations and performing related duties across the enterprise as assigned.
- Effectively multi-tasks and prioritizes competing tasks to ensure that work is completed in a timely and efficient matter.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires broad training in related field through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program or equivalent combination of education and experience; BA or BS Degree in related field preferred. Normally requires a minimum of six (6) years directly related and progressively responsible experience, as well as previous work experience in law enforcement or the healthcare industry.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- US and global compliance and investigations expertise.
- Experience with EthicsPoint.
Experience in preparing for and conducting interviews with witnesses and subjects of an investigation.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work alone as well as collaborate with others.
- Proven experience in working across a matrix.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry and regulations preferred.
- Demonstrates strong critical thinking and expresses ideas clearly, concisely and logically.
- Ability to make balanced and insightful decisions, clear problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.

Salary Range*$72,200 - 103,290*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
