Job Description

As the Global Commercial Lead for Marketing Effectiveness, you will lead our efforts in opening up opportunities with Publishers and advertisers globally to incubate custom solutions that leverage data, technology and MMM and MMT solutions. You will be accountable for achieving revenue and profit targets assigned to the Incubator team, and will be collaborating externally with academic professionals, clients and internally with our Innovation team for planning, designing and co-create new solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Innovation Strategy:
    • Partner with the commercial leads from Publisher and Advertiser teams to build strategies for opening up innovation opportunities
    • Collaborate internally with key stakeholders to identify/prioritize key emerging trends that would require new/innovative solutions
    • Partner closely with the Innovation product leader, to build Innovation roadmap to address client challenges, and showcase the roadmap as a differentiator in proposals and RFPs with clients
    • Engage with academic professionals to facilitate opportunities for collaborating on new research techniques, data access and outcomes
    • Own and lead quarterly governance with key internal stakeholders to assess performance of incubator strategy and execution, with alignment on future improvement/enhancement opportunities
  • Client Leadership:
    • Support client leads in key meetings that have potential to open up new opportunities for building innovative solutions
    • Ensure your team owns the consultation and delivery of Incubator studies to Publishers and Advertiser client
    • Establish solution roadmaps, standard ways of working, and deliverable protocols globally for incubator solutions
    • Regularly demonstrate the value client is getting from Incubator solutions to broader teams internally
  • Revenue Leadership:
    • Be on top of revenue pipeline of all innovation/incubator opportunities and participate in weekly revenue forecasting exercise
    • Engage with Publisher and Advertiser clients to ensure they own and work towards opening up sufficient opportunities to achieve incubator revenue targets
    • Contribute to the Operating Plans for the upcoming year
    • Provide relevant information on Incubator to client prospects and RFP needs
  • Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, hire, and develop talented team of consultants to support key clients with the design and consultation of incubator solutions
    • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure their professional growth

Qualifications

Skillsets

  • Thorough knowledge of emerging trends in advertising, digital platforms and technology
  • Experience in collaborating with external clients and academic professionals for implementing innovative custom solutions for advertiser/publisher clients
  • Expert in problem solving and is familiar with global markets and data
  • High familiar with and has kept up with advancement in statistical modeling techniques
  • Understanding of big picture, ability to engage with C-suite
  • Strong communication skills and has the ability to conduct webinars, speak at conferences
  • Able to work in ambiguous situations collaboratively with internal & external teams 
  • High responsiveness, building own opinions and sharing them through a compelling vision/narrative
  • Proven experience in leading a team, managing people, and developing talent
  • Knowledge of AI and believes in its ability to exponentially enhance business intelligence for advertisers
  • High say-do ratio and curious in learning from others/publicly available sources

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Advanced degree in marketing, business, statistics, finance or any related field
  • Experience in leading analytics programs with publishers and advertisers
  • Thorough knowledge of emerging digital platforms
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Statistical modeling techniques including Marketing Mix, Experiments, etc.
  • Curious about learning and adopting AI and machine learning based techniques

Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $146,300-$182,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
