About the Team & Role:
At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (advertising) team plays a key role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving effective ad campaigns, and more. As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed around the world, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real time. The global Monetization Integrity team ensures TikTok users have a safe experience while viewing advertisements. They work closely with advertisers to create ad policies, manage content review processes, and more. The team is critical in assuring a joyful and creative ads experience for the community. Within the Monetization Integrity (MI) department, the Policy Solutions team ensures that advertising policies are consistently and accurately implemented in human and machine moderation. The Policy Solutions team works closely with internal stakeholders--product, engineering, and operations teams--to connect advertising policies to integrity products and processes. As the Global Policy Solutions Team Lead on the Monetization Integrity Team, you will lead the teams responsible for policy implementation and enforcement. This is a role that requires excellent people and stakeholder management skills, experience working with complex technology products, and a demonstrated history of successful people management. TikTok currently observes a hybrid working policy of 4 days in the office each week and 1 day working remotely. This position is full-time and based out of our Austin, TX office.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the teams responsible for integrating policies with machine and human moderation operations
- Design content labeling strategies to ensure integrity risks are monitored and actionable
- Lead advertising policy deployment in a complex and matrixed organization
- Collaborate with policy, product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure alignment on goals and accountability
- Be a representative of the Global Policy and Risk Team in leadership groups, internal forums, and with internal cross-functional teams
- Responsible for people management, including talent development, organizational change, and performance management.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience related to policy development and product implementation and support
- 5+ years of experience in content moderation, product operations, policy development, and/or in a similar role in a high technology company
- Ability to develop project plans, roadmaps, and lead and manage internal and external project teams.
- Experience formally managing a team in an ever-changing, output-oriented organization

- Proven ability to coach and mentor a team, identify individual development needs and map training plans.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $150000 - $175000 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
