GIS Geospatial Analyst / Digitizer / Collections Analyst

Foundation GIS Geospatial Collections Analyst is an entry level position on our Geography team. The position will support our work updating and maintaining Foundation Geospatial data. They will be trained by our staff on the product specifications, and the CACI tools, tactics and procedures for creating and updating these charting products. They will be expected to work on their individual workshares and work closely with their Teams, Task Leads, and Quality Control team to create high quality deliverables. The ideal candidate has education and some work experience with GIS, and Esri software. Additionally, the ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly motivated, and is ready to come in with a great attitude, learn the job, work hard, and contribute to making our team and our products better everyday!
You will perform the following tasks on the Geography project:
Review data looking for errors and provide feedback
Data conversion from geodatabase format to product specification
Perform validation checks
Analysis of data to ensure maritime safety
Read and understand complex tables and information to be applied to geodatabase features
Communication of guidance
Train with experienced digitizers
Perform project setup steps
Analyzing project instructions to communicate which actions need to be applied to the data
Ability to work collaboratively and independently as the required by the team
Minimum requirements:
0-3 years of GEO experience
High school education
BS/BA in Geography, GIS or related field preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word and Excel
Proficiency in communication/collaboration software like MS Teams and Slack
Experience with ESRI suite of tools and geodatabases
Knowledge of ArcMap and ArcCatalog (version 10.8 is preferred)
Familiarity with ArcToolbox

The proposed salary range for this position is:
