GDS Support Specialist
Salt Lake City, Utah, United States - Remote
This position supports GDS processes and technology and will be working with agents, accounting team and the Account Managers with the goal of supporting our clients ever changing needs.
Responsibilities
- Sabre and Galileo/Travelport tasks in the following areas:
- Sabre scripting
- Set up new PCC’s as needed
- Support online booking tool setups as needed
- Adding policy and Udids
- FOP changes
- Maintaining Service Fees
- Adding air, hotel and car contract info – verifying that all contracts are working
- Verifying all hotel rates – in all SID’s required
- Verifying all ATPCO air contracts and update where applicable in all SID’s required
- Updating and maintaining the hotel secure rate plan codes
- Building all new client udid’s in script
- Troubleshooting script errors for in-house and onsite agents
- Troubleshooting and researching Compleat issues
- Adding info to all existing scripts
- Help Desk ticket support
Requirements
- 3+ years frontline experience in a full-service agency demonstrating working knowledge of travel agency operations, industry procedure, and agency accounting
- Strong Sabre, Galileo/Travelport or Worldspan skills
- Agent format support experience
- Ability to lead initiatives, embrace change and drive continuous process improvement
- Good communication, organization and follow-through skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong internal customer service skills
- Excellent time management and problem resolution skills
- Willing to travel

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually, based on experience
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by several factors that may include but are not limited to interdepartmental equity, candidate experience, skills, education and training, location, licenses, and certifications or needs of the organization. Full time roles will also qualify for our total benefits package offered by Christopherson Business Travel.
