About the role
As a Fund Administrator, you will be an integral team member with the focus of helping support the day-to-day financial, regulatory filing and compliance operations of exchange-traded. What you'll do
- Preparing fund distribution calculations for all ETFs and communicating amounts and rates to service providers and listing exchanges.
- Working with individual Tidal Trust Fund Administration teams on distribution policies and client specific requirements, including the planning for new ETF launches.
- Coordinating the setting of distribution dates and communications to internal and external partners, including clients and listing exchanges.
- Assisting the Tax Administration group with distribution related inquiries and support, including Investment Company Institute (“ICI”) file communications.
- Preparing 19a-1 Notices and coordinate dissemination of the notices
- Coordinating preparation and review of press releases for respective distribution announcements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics or finance, or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of investment industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of investments and security types
- Understanding of legal, regulatory, and accounting principles
- Acknowledgement of ethics and compliance
- Organized an attentive to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills
- Intermediate to expert Microsoft Excel ability
The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:
- Energetic self-starter with strong organizational and proofreading skills, excellent communication, interpersonal skills (both verbal and written), and strong drafting/writing skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work concurrently on a variety of projects in a very fast paced environment.
- The ability to work well independently and collaboratively, often within tight time constraints.
- Strong computer skills required, including excellent typing skills, and in-depth understanding of Microsoft Word. Proven ability to adapt to new software and processes.
- BA degree preferred, although will consider an associate degree with previous related experience.
