Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Full-Stack Web Application Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to design, build, test, and support enterprise-grade web applications for the DoD.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and develop web application components and backing services.
• Design and develop integration tests for components and services.
• Investigate and resolve defects related to the developed software systems.
• Participate in team planning sessions, including work estimation exercises, design discussions, and other collaborative efforts.
• Act as a resource to managers and employees in the organization.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Strong working knowledge of experience and designing web applications and backend services using REST technologies
• Proficiency in Java, Typescript, HTML, and CSS
• Strong understanding of source control and build systems
• Strong working knowledge of unit and integration testing strategies and tools
• Strong curiosity and willingness to learn in a team environment

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Web frameworks and tools - Preferred: Angular and AG Grid
• Relational database interaction - Preferred: PostgreSQL and JPA
• Backend server frameworks - Preferred: Spring Boot and Spring Web
• Experience with containerization technologies

Salary Range: 

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
