About the Role
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Wheel, you’ll jump right in and work on projects that are critical to the success of the company. Our engineers are self-motivated, versatile, compassionate and can work equally well in highly collaborative settings as well as those with little direction. This role blends traditional software engineering with key aspects of Systems Reliability Engineering. Our work is focused on building platform features to support our clients and expanding software capabilities.
What You’ll Do
Contribute towards making technology, framework, and architecture designs for Wheel’s systems alongside broader Engineering Team.
Ensure we’re constantly moving our product forward in a build-learn-iterate model.
Collaborate with the client solutions team to build and enhance platform features for our existing and future customers.
Design, build, deploy and maintain user experiences that scale with a high growth company.
Take ownership of new features, big and small, analyzing system and business metrics post-release.
Be curious and keep an eye out for new technical requirements/discovery, solution identification and provide technical recommendations to client and internal Wheel teams.
Help each customer on-board during their technical integration phase and production rollout, executing against technical requirements needed for launch.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and uptime through automation and root cause analysis.
Develop tools and frameworks to streamline system reliability processes, including CI/CD pipelines and observability solutions.
Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
Salary and Perks
Pay Range: $129,200 - 184,000 per year.
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
