About Your New Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior to Mid-level Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimization of our web applications, working with a range of technologies such as PHP, Python, React with TypeScript, Linux, Ubuntu, Apache, and MySQL.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career or looking to expand their full-stack development skills. You will collaborate with experienced engineers, gain exposure to various aspects of the development lifecycle, and have the chance to make a meaningful impact on our innovative products. This is a 100% Remote, Full-Time position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help define, design, and implement new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for both front-end and back-end applications.
• Assist in ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Participate in code reviews, learning from feedback and contributing to a culture of quality.
• Work with databases, including designing and optimizing schemas under guidance.
• Debug and resolve issues in a timely manner with support from senior team members.
• Help integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Contribute to testing efforts, including writing unit and integration tests.
• Stay curious and learn new technologies with the support of the team.

What You'll Need for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer or in a related role.
• Proficiency in back-end development, particularly with PHP and Python.
• Understanding of in front-end technologies such as React or Vue.js, and familiarity with TypeScript.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and basic principles of microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn from experienced team members.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Bonus: Experience with SSO, Identity Management (e.g., Okta, Auth0), or Big Data reporting.
• A portfolio of past projects, code samples, or GitHub contributions is a plus.

Commandlink hires individuals in a number of geographic regions and the pay ranges listed reflect the cost of labor across these regions. The base pay for this position as displayed at the bottom of the job description is a range based on our lowest geographic region, up to our highest geographic region. Pay is based on location among other factors, such as skill-set, experience, and qualifications held.
