About the Role

TripleTen AI is a team of researchers, developers, and designers dedicated to rethinking and reinventing how people learn with AI. We continuously explore advancements in AI and educational science, designing tools that we actively ship to students.

As a design-focused Frontend Engineer, you’ll collaborate with TripleTen designers and engineers to improve the quality of TripleTen's UX and deliver it at a fast pace. You’ll develop and release features that are intuitive, even for users unfamiliar with AI technology.

We believe that interaction with AI should be seamless, and we are always working to innovate and reinvent how people engage with it while learning.

What you will do

• Write front-end code for important features on our roadmap, focusing on the user interface and experience.
• Implement instant AI help, repetition mechanics, skills profile, and more.
• Establish and manage workflows that enable us to deliver quickly while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Participate in product development, from clarifying requirements to delivering features to real users.
• Work closely with Product Designers to enhance early interface concepts, creating code prototypes to rapidly test, refine, and innovate.
• Develop certain parts of the technical infrastructure for TripleTen AI features and agentic systems.
• Contribute ideas and participate in strategic discussions.

Requirements

What We Need

• 2-5 years of experience in front-end development, UI engineering, design engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience developing in TypeScript.
• Experience working with Node.js and knowledge of how to design an API for interacting with the backend.
• An eye for visual and interaction details, and good judgment about what makes for a great user experience.
• Passion for education and AI, proactivity, and excitement about putting ideas into practice.
• Desire to learn every day.
• Business Professional fluency in English or higher (C2 or C1 level).

A plus if you have:

• Great UX/UI skills and the ability to create high-quality, well-crafted visual and interaction design. We prefer not to spend too much time in Figma specifying every detail — instead, we try to prototype the path. So, the ability to independently make strong design decisions is a big plus.
• Experience in backend development. We’re a team of generalists who constantly prioritize the most important things to build, and even as a front-end developer, you’ll sometimes need to work on the backend.
• Experience developing tests to automate verification for web applications.
