We have a great opportunity for a remote Front-End Software Engineer to join our IT Trade Engineering team, within the Ferguson IT organization!

As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using modern web technologies. You will work closely with our design and backend teams to ensure a seamless integration and optimal performance of our web applications.

This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain user-facing features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Solve and debug issues to improve performance and user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components).
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$5,444.76 - $9,537.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
