- Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test mobile and desktop web software applications or systems.
- Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications.
- Implement features and user interfaces to optimize performance of user-facing products.
- Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products.
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
- Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the U.S.
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. and 36 months experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. (Foreign equivalent accepted).
- Requires 36 months of experience involving the following:
- 1. Building web applications using JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6
- 2. HTML or CSS including layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility
- 3. Browser APls and optimizing front end performance of web-based applications
- 4. Front end development of mobile and desktop applications using React
- 5. Debugging or benchmarking
- 6. Writing code for User Interface components and
- 7. Building tools, linting and formatting of the codebase
