Why does this role exist

The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for recruiting top-tier talent and ensuring a streamlined hiring process. This role involves collaboration with hiring managers, strategic planning, and maintaining a robust candidate pipeline through effective branding and sourcing techniques.

Key Responsibilities

The impact you’ll make: 
  • Requisition Management
    • Conduct meetings with hiring managers to define hiring needs and assist in creating strategic hiring plans.
    • Participate in strategic planning to fulfill the manpower needs of requesting departments.
    • Obtain all necessary sign-offs to validate the hiring process.
    • Provide hiring managers with detailed candidate assessments to aid in the decision-making process.
    • Provide regular updates on hiring progress to managers, ensuring transparency and alignment with recruitment goals.

  • Candidate Sourcing
    • Work with the sourcing team to ensure job advertisements are posted effectively through both organic and paid channels.
    • Evaluate leads from various sources, repurpose them as needed, and meet daily and weekly recruitment funnel goals.

  • Assessment and Interviewing
    • Administer candidate assessments and report findings.
    • Conduct initial and behavioral interviews, facilitating further interviews with hiring managers.
    • Endorse qualified candidates to hiring managers and arrange subsequent interviews.

  • Job Offer Management
    • Develop salary proposals aligned with candidate expectations.
    • Negotiate salary details and obtain necessary salary information sheets.
    • Secure approvals for job offers from relevant authorities.
    • Conduct detailed job offer presentations to candidates.
    • Monitor and track job offer acceptances to ensure successful hiring clos
    • Extend job offers to selected candidates and prepare offer packages.

  • ATS Management
    • Configure interview questions, scorecards, and recruitment funnels within the ATS.
    • Ensure the ATS is up-to-date with the latest candidate information and hiring stages.
    • Utilize the ATS for efficient tracking and management of candidate progress throughout the hiring process.

  • Background Verification
    • Complete reference and background checks for selected candidates.

  • Candidate Experience Management
    •  Guarantee a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process and conduct surveys for feedback.
    • Offer prompt and informative feedback to candidates, addressing any follow-up questions or concerns.

  • Onboarding Coordination
    • Collaborate with onboarding, training, and line managers to develop onboarding plans for new hires.
    • Craft and distribute new hire and promotion announcements on internal company channels.
    • Send reminders and pertinent information to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.

  • Performance and Progress Monitoring
    • Keep track of your own recruitment metrics, productivity, and key performance indicators to ensure peak performance.
    • Deliver on daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment targets as set by Recruitment Manager

  • Strategic Contribution
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative recruitment strategies and initiatives.
    • Participate in employer branding efforts to create a positive candidate experience.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required Experience:
  • At least 2 years of experience in high-volume recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with employer branding and enhancing the candidate experience.
  • Proficient with applicant tracking systems and recruitment data management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
