FP&A Manager Product Costs

Job Description:

Cost Management & Analysis:

• Analyze product cost structures, including direct and indirect costs.
• Monitor and report variances in cost estimates vs. actual expenses and recommend corrective actions.
• Work closely with product operations, procurement teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop cost allocation models to enhance pricing strategies and profitability analysis.

Financial Planning & Forecasting:

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning related to product operations.
• Perform scenario analysis to assess the financial impact of changes in production, pricing, and sourcing.
• Support capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx) planning.

Reporting & Decision Support:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports on product costs and operational efficiency.
• Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making in product development and operations.
• Develop dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial and operational performance.

Process Improvement & Compliance:

• Assist in streamlining cost management processes through automation and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
• Support audits and regulatory reporting as needed.

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $71,250 and $95,000 USD. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
