FP&A Manager – Sales Finance (OSM)

As an FP&A Manager, You Will: 

  • Maintain eCommerce global revenue reporting and analysis along with revenue-driver performance, providing analytic insights to support effective business decision-making
  • Monitor on-going revenue database integrity, ensuring completeness and accuracy for revenue reporting
  • Own annual planning, quarterly, monthly and weekly forecasting and long-term strategic planning models for bookings and revenue, partnering with key stakeholders to provide insights on risks and opportunities as well as strategic issues and assumptions
  • Build, maintain, and improve scalable, sustainable financial models to forecast global bookings and revenue across multiple products
  • Generate executive level views and presentations on actionable trends and developments within the OSM business vertical
  • Proactively develop and deploy advanced modeling and analytics to improve forecast accuracy and business driver understanding. Train peers and colleagues on best practices for financial modeling and advanced analytical tools
  • Support multi-file financial modeling within an MS-Sharepoint environment
  • Evaluate web analytics and experiments, incorporating learnings into forecasting and planning workflows
  • Share ownership of driver-based revenue model with digital marketing business partners using traffic, trial downloads, and other metrics to provide forecasting and analysis to the eCommerce business
  • Collaborate with Online Sales and Marketing team, analyzing data from eCommerce and Analytics platforms to identify growth, customer engagement, ROI increasing opportunities and revenue impact
  • Understand influences of digital marketing initiatives on driving revenue performance
  • Track performance of paid media spend and ROAS, supporting eCommerce Sales team on operationalizing to financial metrics
  • Master and monitor support systems used in the core FP&A processes in support of the corporate calendar

What You Bring to the Table: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or equivalent),
  • Minimum 5+ years of related work experience
  • Experience in the software industry is preferable including a global scope with and e- Commerce platform experience
  • Cross functional project management skills, especially relating to new tooling or reporting implementations
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, advanced lookup and reference functions), experience with multi-file model links across a file server (i.e. MS Sharepoint)
  • Direct experience with revenue forecasting and planning, and exemplary model structuring for readability and supportability
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL scripting (joins, pivoting, aggregates)
  • Experience with eCommerce Revenue and Digital Marketing modeling (paid media, technical / functional SEO, etc.)
  • Ability to collaborate with other functions and offer guidance on digital marketing and pricing strategies
  • Experience with SaaS metrics (customer acquisition and retention metrics, MRR/ARR, LTV/CAC, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP and business analytics technologies including NetSuite, Adaptive, and Tableau or Looker (cross-tabs and visualization, custom formulas, and fields, multi-source data reporting & analysis)
  • Experience with business intelligence (BI) tool migrations a plus (specifically Tableau to Looker)
  • Strong communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships and collaboration with senior internal stakeholders as finance business partner
  • Attention to detail with ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic work environment
  • Work well in high pressure situations
  • Self-starter with ability to work both independently and co-operatively on a team
  • Curiosity about information flows and data relationships, seeing and solving “the puzzle”, able to explain the solution/cause/effect
  • Ability to independently identify issues, crisply articulate findings, propose, and drive solutions
  • Comfort working in remote-first environment with periodic teaming on-site
