Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm (Training will be held on 1st shift 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday). Once trained, this will be a fully remote position!

Fleet Maintenance Specialist- Salary Role- Grade 5- Range: $46000 - $57500 - $7762

The Fleet Maintenance Specialist plays a pivotal role in the operational integrity of the fleet. Tasked with the meticulous planning and scheduling of repairs, this individual ensures peak functionality of all equipment and systems, while adhering to budget metrics.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and utilize SWI’s (Standard Work Instructions) for fleet maintenance / repair activities
  • Review and approve invoices for payment
  • Continually review, seek feedback, and optimize resources, parts, and technicians
  • Update and maintain the status of work orders in EAM system
  • Provide administrative direction to maintain project costs within budget
  • Support team members to ensure responsibilities and assigned projects are completed
  • Provide regular recommendations on future steps to improve predictive maintenance on the fleet
  • Maintain relationships with Vendors and Suppliers
  • KPI development for maintenance trends and spend
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders both internal and external

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Train and/or lead Maintenance Planners

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 years’ experience in a repair coordination environment or relevant certification
  • Knowledge of Over the Road refrigeration units
  • Thorough knowledge preventative fleet maintenance
  • Experience with transportation management software and EAM software
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Pay Range:$46,700.00 - $78,800.00
