Cigna is currently hiring a Financial Project Senior Analyst. The Financial Project Senior Analyst is a key component in supporting the Revenue Management team. This team includes Premium Service Representatives, Billing Analysts, Inventory, Collection Coordinator, Supervisors, Reconciliation Analysts, and Global Service Partner Leads. The Analyst will be responsible for daily review and oversight of system related billing issues as well as developing, maintaining, and executing various reporting processes to support the team. This position will also be required to lead and/or support client facing activities around billing and collections while working on various projects, process enhancements, and creation of SOPs. In addition to the primary responsibilities, this role requires a strong ability to embrace change while offering significant flexibility that may result in a shift in responsibilities based on business need.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with Premium Service Representatives and Billing Analyst to improve the client experience and reduce financial risk by supporting all billing related tasks including but not limited to new business, renewal, life cycle changes, premium variance, audits, sales compensation, and special projects related to supplemental products.
  • Point of contact for ticket questions related to SHIP billing issues and support team members with identifying barriers; liaison for communication of barriers for PSR/Management/GSP partners.
  • Excel: Support analyst request for improvement to manual processes requiring extensive experience with formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
  • SharePoint: Create and manage SharePoint Online pages and lists.
  • Process improvement: meet with stakeholders, analyze current workflow and tools available and migrate processes to new technologies if applicable.
  • Troubleshoot issues with various tools.
  • Document technical projects for both developers and end-users and ensure that all code is properly commented.
  • Communicate with users of various technical knowledge; translate business requirements into technical specifications and explain complex technical solutions effectively and concisely.
  • Execute routine reporting processes (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) and distributes reports to the team.
  • Handle technical support when needed.
  • Train team members on reporting processes and best practices.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and works with peers and supervisors to execute on these opportunities.
  • Support onboarding processes; own access management entitlements and provide approvals and assistance as needed.
  • Support projects through full development lifecycle, including testing and training.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Strong business acumen, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: advanced Excel and SharePoint knowledge required
  • Ability to identify barriers and routing trends/issues
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to create precise, thorough documentation on processes and updates
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with audiences of varying technical knowledge; can communicate complex technical solutions effectively as well as translate business needs into technical specifications


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 61,100 - 101,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
