Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Financial Counselor to join our team. Supports patients and the organization by reviewing patient financial information to determine potential reimbursement concerns. Assists patients in need of financial assistance with understanding the organization's financial assistance program options, payment options, financial policies and insurance authorization information for scheduled outpatient services.

Position Specifics:
• Schedule: Full time, 40 hrs/wk, Monday-Friday
• Location: 100% remote, accepting applicants that can work remotely and live in AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MO, MT, NC, NE, NV, TN, TX, OH, WA, or WI.

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Associates degree in business or a related field is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

  • 2 years of healthcare or clerical/administrative experience is preferred.

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $23.00

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
