Financial Controller (US, Remote)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• ASC606 Revenue Recognition and capitalized commissions
• Ownership of month, quarter, and year-end close processes, including entity consolidation
• Manage intercompany transactions and IP royalties
• Coordinate annual audits for US and international entities
• Oversee employee and contractor payrolls across multiple subsidiaries and countries
• Produce error-free financial statements and reporting
• Prepare reporting for functional leaders across the organization
• Assist with reporting to Private Equity fund and acquisition accounting
• Plan and direct acquisition integration activities
• Review and recommend improvements to procedures and accounting systems
• Mentor accounting personnel and grow the team in line with company growth

Education, Experience & Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree,
• CPA recommended but not required
• 5-7 year’s experience with US GAAP accounting
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce a plus
• Positive attitude, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

The role will report to the VP, Accounting & Financial Operations but will be expected to interact and work closely with FP&A and HR along with other departments across the company as needed. The role requires regular contact with our international teams located in the United States, Europe, and Asia so comfort working with diverse professional and cultural backgrounds is required.
