Jefferson Healthcare (www.jeffersonhealthcare.org) is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join our Accounting Team. In this role, you will perform in-depth analysis of reimbursement and cost allocation strategies for the Medicare Cost Report. This position also takes on the responsibilities of a provider compensation analyst by evaluating the impact and cost projections of provider compensation programs, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability. Key responsibilities include preparing detailed workpapers and analyzing Medicare Cost Reports, developing and refining cost allocation methodologies, performing comprehensive provider compensation and productivity analyses across various specialties, building financial models and forecasts, supporting budget preparation and variance analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and verify financial data, and presenting insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.

This is a full-time, exempt position, and will remain open until filled.

Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years of working in an intermediate to advanced analyst role in a healthcare environment in direct support of business operations required.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, accounting, or related field
- Proven understanding of generally accepted accounting principles is required.
- Minimum one (1) years' experience with provider compensation models (i.e. wRVU production incentives, shift reconciliation) and productivity benchmarking is preferred.

Essential Functions (please refer to the job description for full list):
Develop and implement comprehensive reporting and analytics solutions:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business needs, document requirements, and identify data sources.
- Design, develop, and deliver reports and analyses using BI tools or joining large datasets from multiple sources.
- Create reports or interactive dashboards to educate and engage stakeholders.
Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement:
- Conduct advanced, timely, and relevant analyses to support business strategies and objectives.
- Interpret data findings and communicate insights in a clear and actionable manner.
- Provide comprehensive financial analysis and recommendations on a routine and ad hoc basis for organizational, service line, and project-specific business decisions.
- Provide market and financial analysis for enhancing strategic growth, measure profitability to identify opportunities for margin improvement, and evaluate the financial performance of new and existing programs and services.
Build and maintain strong relationships:
- Collaborate effectively with revenue cycle, finance, clinical informatics, and operational teams.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization.
Provide technical expertise:
- Utilize data/technical architecture and implement BI solutions using various tools (i.e., Infor, Strata, Symplr, Tableau).
- Identify and manage data quality issues impacting analytics.
