Financial Analyst

Summary

The Financial Analyst is responsible for the creation of operational and financial reports, forecasting future results, and providing various standard and ad hoc analyses. Additionally, the position will support the Financial Systems and Reporting Manager in enhancing our FP&A systems and reporting.

What You’ll Do

• Creates forecasting models, publishes management reporting, and provides financial performance analysis to operational teams

• Ensures the efficient & accurate flow of data between the various financial reporting systems

• Developments and verifies the accuracy of financial reports and dashboards in the various FP&A reporting tools

• Recommends and drives improvements & enhancements to current financial systems

• Retrieves discerns, and reconciles information from various sources to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting

• Participates in driving process improvements related to forecasting, reporting, modeling, and analysis

• Creates and presents various reports to operating groups, tailoring information as needed for greater clarity and understanding of the organization

• Ensures timely development of accurate reports and analyses to support corporate goals and strategies

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, (MIS) Management Information Systems, or a related field

• 2+ years of finance, business analytics, or planning experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Systems, Databases & SQL 

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment

• Extremely detail-oriented and organized

• Time management

• Ability to interact effectively with co-workers across all levels and areas of the company

• Ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions

• Minimal travel for internal meetings

• Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office
