Financial Analyst (Hybrid Remote)

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reports and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity of financial data.
- Analyze and interpret financial data, including revenue, expenses, cost management, and profitability, and create visual reports to support key business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements, ensuring financial models are aligned with operational goals and objectives.
- Prepare regular financial performance reports, variance analysis, and forecasting models to provide insights on financial trends and operational efficiency.
- Build and automate Power BI reports and integrate data from various internal systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, EHR) to provide a comprehensive financial overview.
- Support the budgeting and financial planning processes by developing financial models and conducting scenario analysis.
- Assist in identifying areas of financial risk or opportunity and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Work with IT teams to troubleshoot and optimize data flows and reporting systems.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulatory compliance and best practices in financial reporting.
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects as needed, supporting management and departmental goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Financial Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in the healthcare industry.
- Expertise in Power BI for developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations; experience with data transformation tools and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and healthcare financial operations.
- Proficiency with Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and other data analysis tools.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform complex financial analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
