What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes Accounts Payable and working with staff in-house.
This position is open to remote with flexibility to come in for moments that matter.
Responsibilities
- Liaison for internal and external stakeholders to Cardinal Health’s third party service provider (offshore) for Accounts Payable.
- Responsible for the finance transactions related to our Medical Segment, including invoices, credits, uploads, and requests from internal and external teams.
- Accountable for handling level 1 escalations for scope of work, both internal and external.
- Responsible for monitoring the team’s service level and other performance health metrics.
- Will be tasked with building out new reporting and analytics with a focus on improving efficiency and to provide a more in depth view to overall process health.
- Will be accountable for identifying process improvement opportunities, including functions that can be automated via RPA or other technology solutions.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of finance, accounting experience, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Financial Acumen is preferred
- Strong people influence and leadership skills preferred
- Proficiency in analytical tools like Excel/Macro, PowerPoint, etc. preferred
- Technical skills preferred SAP and ability to learn

Anticipated salary range: $66,500-$94,900
