Overview

The Manager, Finance will coordinate and support the organization’s financial planning, risk management, budgeting, and reporting functions. This leadership role is integral to ensuring financial stability, optimizing operational performance, and aligning financial strategies with the company’s business objectives. The Manager will be responsible for interpreting large sets of data and creating financial projections, analyzing and assessing cost metrics of key vendors, performing analysis on methods of streamlining workflows, and working on various strategic projects. The Finance Manager will present their results to Senior Finance Leaders while also assisting in managing internal analyst team workload and support. Having prior experience performing financial analysis or business intelligence on large datasets, preferably in an FP&A, finance, or strategy role is desirable. The ideal candidate should be comfortable delivering key insights and recommendations to Finance Leaders in a clear and concise manner, while also identifying and escalating concerns for analysis. NDR is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, and we would expect the candidate to be comfortable solving complex problems, being a team player, and stepping out of their comfort zone.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert about our company and industry• Develop and oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes to support organizational goals• Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to guide executive decision-making• Partner with department managers and finance leaders to determine gaps and areas for potential improvement in operations and analyses • Support analysts and interns on the FP&A team, ensuring effective completion of tasks as well as project prioritization• Analyze data in a quickly changing environment• Run, maintain, back-test, and build financial models• Manage relationships with accounting team to optimize internal reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred• 3+ years of strategy or finance-related experience• Strong analytical skills• Strong written and communication skills• Demonstrate ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting and data analysis• Ability to consolidate, understand, and communicate large sets of data• Ability to communicate effectively with their team and problem solve • Attention to detail • Experience managing stakeholders in differing departments/functions• Thrive in a fast-paced environment• Computer competency, including the use of a keyboard and ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time• Prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills• Punctuality expected, ready to report to work on a consistent basis• Attain and maintain high performance expectations monthly• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting• Use and navigate multiple computer systems with exceptional multi-tasking skills• Remain calm and professional during difficult discussions• Take constructive feedback

Compensation Information

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings. The salary for this position is $100,000 to $135,000 annually.
