The salary for this role is Ā£45,000 ā€“ Ā£55,000.

As a Finance Manager at LI, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation, profit and loss reporting, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulatory requirements. You will also contribute to decision-making and company strategy, reflecting the financial perspective in all engagements.Ā 

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance or a related field, with proven strategic planning and financial analysis skills.Ā 

Your responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the staff and daily operations of the finance departmentĀ 
  • Monitor and analyse financial data and create financial models for decision supportĀ 
  • Develop and implement financial controls and processesĀ 
  • Prepare monthly financial reports including budgets, forecasts, and cash flowĀ 
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirementsĀ 
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controlsĀ 
  • Advise on long-term business and financial planningĀ 
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reportsĀ 
  • Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetingsĀ 

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar roleĀ 
  • A strong understanding of business principles and practicesĀ 
  • Superior attention to detail, brilliant organisational skills, and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.Ā 
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methodsĀ 
  • Ability to strategise finance related deliverables and solve problemsĀ 
  • Understanding of private and public sector funding regulationsĀ 
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles, including activity-based costingĀ 
  • Working knowledge of all UK statutory legislation and regulationsĀ 
  • Proficient experience of using finance software eg Xero, Pento
  • Experience of using MS Office Products and Power BIĀ

  • CCAB Professional qualification such as CPA, CA or CIMA or similar ā€¦
