The Role
Zappi is currently looking for a motivated and dynamic Finance Assistant to join our finance team, playing a key role in supporting our global operations. The ideal candidate will be driven, eager to learn, and dedicated to delivering excellence within a high-performing finance function. This position offers the chance to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, where you’ll have the opportunity to contribute fresh ideas while receiving guidance for your professional growth and development. This is a temporary role to cover a one-year maternity leave with the opportunity to be converted to a full-time position, in a primarily remote work setting. The role has the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Support the finance team with generating and processing customer invoices using NetSuite, looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline the invoicing process.
- Oversee the company’s credit control process by collaborating with key clients to ensure invoices are paid on time.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage prompt payment and prevent future delays.
- Review and process employee expense claims, ensuring they comply with company policies and are submitted accurately and on time.
- Help the finance team with the month-end revenue recognition process by assisting in the reconciliation of revenue and ensuring accurate reporting.
