The Finance & Banking Associate will assist in the management of various banking and payment processing platforms. This will include user and service management and other support. This role will also be responsible for several banking functions, including electronic funds transfer, signature card support, night depository and other treasury services. Additional duties include, fee review, vendor setup assistance, system and process testing, and special projects. This role will also assist with other Finance responsibilities as required.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Online Platforms - Banking & Payment Processing

  • Responsible for user and service maintenance as system administrator.

  • Assisting with research and resolving system and data transfer issues.

  • Assisting with data research and reporting.

Banking

  • Responsible for compilation of balance information and initiation of cash consolidation transfers.

  • Serve as backup for daily cash management process.

  • Responsible for maintaining bank signature cards and supportive documentation.

  • Responsible for setting up night depositories and courier services for ACS events.

  • Assisting with the setup and maintenance of bank accounts and treasury services, such as online banking & account security.

Other

  • Daily management of incoming messages to the team email box and coordinating responses with the Banking Operations Director.

  • Responsible for periodic testing of bank and processing fees to assure accuracy of calculation and charges.

  • Assisting with the setup of third-party event management systems, payment processors, and funds disbursement to ACS bank accounts.

  • Assisting with all payment processing and banking system testing.

  • Promoting customer satisfaction when interacting with other departments.

  • Proactively communicating payment processing and system issues as they arise.

  • Documenting current business processes and identifying improvement opportunities.

FORMAL KNOWLEDGE

  • 5 years of banking, merchant services, funds transfer, and/or general ledger accounting.

  • Associates degree preferred but not required.

Other Skills

  • Experience with commercial online banking systems and funds transfer process.

  • Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite systems.

  • Knowledge of credit card processing systems.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (intermediate level or higher desired)

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Self-motivated

  • Ability to plan/organize workload, maintaining flexibility

  • Strong attention to details

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines

The starting rate is $21 to $27 per hour. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
